GWE & Friends Updates

Volunteer with GWE at a Meet and Greet for Admitted Female Engineering MS and PhD students
April 1, 2021 from 5-7pm

GWE is hosting a virtual meet and greet with newly admitted PhD students in engineering, and we'd love if you could join! This is a great opportunity to share our experiences as graduate students at Berkeley and get to know potential future friends. We will be using the gather.town platform, which will allow for lots of small-group discussions. To make things even more fun, we will reimburse each attendee up to $20 for dinner!! :)

GWE x STEM*FYI: The Rollercoaster of Imposter Feelings ๐Ÿ’†๐Ÿ™Œ
April 5, 2021 from 12-1pm

Have you doubted your skills and accomplishments, and felt like a fraud although your qualifications say otherwise? How often has this happened through your career here in UC-Berkeley and elsewhere? In this workshop, Dr. Yi Du and Dr. Amy Honigman from CAPS will explain what is the so-called impostor feeling, what it does to us, how to manage it, and more! This will be followed by a small group discussion. We would love to see you there to share your experiences and help each other overcome it.

The hosts will be giving away cute facemasks and 3x $25 gift cards, so everyone one will get a raffle entry for attending!

GWE will be reimbursing up to $15 to the first 15 people that stay for the duration of the event. Please save your itemized receipt.
